What is IntelliLink?

IntelliLink is GMC’s premier infotainment system, first introduced to its truck and SUV lineup on the 2012 GMC Terrain. More than a decade later, every new GMC now comes standard with an infotainment system and a touchscreen display. Check for GMC IntelliLink Updates

Steps to Resetting GMC IntelliLink

However, resetting the GMC IntelliLink system on your own is pretty simple! Here are the steps to follow:

1. Navigate to your GMC IntelliLink home screen and click on ‘Settings’
2. Select ‘Return to Factory Settings’
3. You’ll be offered three options: Restore Vehicle Settings, Clear All Private Data, or Restore Radio Settings. For our purposes, select ‘Restore Vehicle Settings’
4. When prompted to either Continue or Cancel, click ‘Continue’
5. At this point, you can navigate back to the home screen and your system should be reset

Note: Before you restore GMC IntelliLink to factory settings, know that the personal settings you’ve enabled will be erased, and you will be starting with a fresh, unprogrammed entertainment system. If there are GMC IntelliLink apps you’ve downloaded, they may be removed from your infotainment screen.
